The Paper
Although the paper is 170gsm due to the nature of the paper it is bulkier than normal 170gsm sheets. A natural fibrous textured paper that is ideal for all mediums. Although it may feel rough to touch it works well with fineliners and takes a good amount of layers of wet mediums too.

A robust hard case binding with a stiff board covered by Premium Tan Color Leather finish FSC Certified covering material from Europe. The leathery veins with it’s vintage look feel great when held. The rounded corners add grace and class to this premium toned paper sketchbook.

Their Kraft paper is thick and luxurious for painting. However, it’s too absorbent for gouache or poster paint. Would recommend it for acrylic paints, charcoal (great texture) inks for cross-hatching and gel pen to get that nice white highlight. A few pages were stuck together so the binding could have been better, giving it 4 instead of five stars for that.
