Not Recommended – Not the ideal paper for dry mediums as this paper has little to no tooth to hold on to the pigments difficult to work with as tones don’t stand out since working in layers is difficult and the pigments do not hold on to the paper as much.

The Paper
Looking for a paper that lets your pens glide? Look no further. A paper that works extremely well for your technical drawings, hand lettering, urban sketches or even mandalas. All pens and liners work very well with zero feathering and zero damage to the nibs. This paper also takes well to watercolor washes and the colours are vibrant, ideal for ink and watercolor wash illustrations too. Colours look sharp and vibrant as the paper is extremely smooth with no tooth. Ideal paper for scanning your artworks. Watercolor brush pens can be blended out with a little water with no warping or bleed/ghosting.
Glue Bound
Every Scholar 300 gsm Bristol Board Pad is glued with an ultra strong adhesive on the short side. The glue binding keeps your papers intact and allows for easy removal of your true-to-size sheets.
